Romans

Right now I’m a quite in awe of this book.

About 2000 years ago, a man named Paul, a former Christian-hunter turned Christ-servant, wrote 7100 words to a church in Rome.

Today, Western civilization, whether they know it or not, has been profoundly shaped by this letter.

And that’s a mere 20+ pages.

Here’s one of the most influential sentences in human history.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."

That phrase, ‘in it the righteousness of God is revealed’ is theologically and historically significant in ways that few others could even hope to claim.

Consider the staggering power of just a few inspired words.
